A facade system for parametric design constructed by folding composite panels. By it means, construction effective system on variable size and shapes of panels.
FOLDED PANEL UNIT SYSTEM
A folded façade system is required to planarize the four sizes of the unit module after constructing a center plane reference for the twisted façade. This system enables the sub-structure system to control the four vertices accurately.
The sub-structure system is designed to be double, and the primary sub-structure is constructed for insulation and waterproof performance. The secondary sub-structure is composed of circular pipes, so that an irregular unit module with various angles can be installed accurately.
SEJONG GOVERNMENT COMPLEX
By controlling 3d coordinates of four vertices on shape, the construction error of panel installation was less than 5mm.
